Utility Work

Shaw Brothers Construction has been completing utility projects in the Southern Maine area since its beginning in 1977. What started out as a small sector of our business, installing conduit for New England Telephone, has grown into one of our major markets. Our current and past customers cover all of the major utilities in the area including Central Maine Power, Co., Portland Water District, Fairpoint Communications as well as most of the local water and sewer districts. Some of our more notable utility projects include the construction of the Maguire Road Substation for Central Maine Power as well as the Little Falls Wastewater Conveyance Project for the Portland Water District. From installing a water service into a house lot to constructing a new substation yard for Central Maine Power, Shaw Brothers has the equipment, knowledge and experience to complete any utility project.
